Kassie Rose, Book Critic, WOSU Public Media

Kassie Rose is the book critic for WOSU 89.7 FM, an NPR member station broadcasting throughout central Ohio. In addition to monthly radio reviews, Kassie recommends books on WOSU All Sides Weekend Books, a live show where readers call in to talk about their favorite reads. She meets with book clubs and frequently speaks on the topic of how to find good books and the art of reviewing. With funding from the Ohio Humanities Council, Kassie produced and hosted Ohioana Authors, a weekly show that won the Ohio Public Broadcasting Program of the Year Award and also the Arts and Cultural Affairs Award for Series Programming.

Kassie Rose has served as a Literature Advisory Panelist for the Ohio Arts Council and is a recipient of an Ohio Arts Council Individual Artists Grant for fiction. She is a member of the National Book Critics Circle and The Aldus Society, a local chapter of the national Fellowship of American Bibliophilic Societies. When not absorbed in books, Kassie writes and produces content for websites.
